| Helpful Photo Tips: - When selecting your photo to send, keep in mind the quality of the finished artwork is related directly to the quality of the photo provided. - For people or pet portraits: Try to use indirect, natural daylight. Position your subject so that the light hits them on one side. Try several facial expressions before making your choice. (Big grins, while nice in snapshots, are less effective in portraits.) - For house or vehicle photos: Make sure there is plenty of light in the photo(s), and take shots from several angles and distances so you can choose one that best features your subject. When photographing vehicles, it's often helpful to shoot in the morning or afternoon, when the light conditions are more dramatic and interesting. |
